CME Article 10: Polycystic Ovary Syndrome: Impact of Lipotoxicity on Metabolic and Reproductive Health--Explain the phenotypic variants of PCOS; describe how obesity, preferential abdominal fat accumulation, and lipotoxicity adversely affectthe health of PCOS women; and propose a preconception management plan for overweight and obese PCOS women wishing to conceive.
  2. CME Article 11: Management of Endometriomas--Accurately diagnose endometriomas; select appropriate medical management; determine when surgical intervention is warranted; and identify the importance of ovarian tissue?conserving surgical techniques.
  3. CME Article 12: Acupuncture in Obstetrics and Gynecology--Identify the basic concepts of traditional Chinese medicine and how it differs from Western medicine; describe common obstetrical and gynecologic issues that can be successfully treated with acupuncture; and distinguish the main issues in designing acupuncture studies regarding blinding, choosing a control group, and identifying areas of potential bias.
