Activity Steps

Description

The certificate for this activity is for NON-PHYSICIANS.

The authors present the findings of a 2012 survey of registered nurses about wound care and prevention. This survey is a follow-up to a similar survey conducted by the authors in 2005. This follow-up was done because of the changes in evidence based-practices for wound care and prevention. These changes include new knowledge about skin tear practices and differentiating between the stages of full-thickness pressure ulcers (PrUs).
