Description

This article outlines the component of a holistic, evidence-based, cost-effective, interprofessional, and individualized, patient-centered team approach for the treatment of patients who have arterial ulcers. The authors use a wound bed preparation paradigm suitable for those with arterial insufficiency. Clinical interventions are based on the 2012 International Inter-professional Wound Caring Model.
