- CME 30: Carbon Monoxide Exposure During Pregnancy--describe the basic pathophysiology of carbon monoxide poisoning in the mother and fetus; recognize and diagnose carbon monoxide poisoning in a pregnant patient; explain treatment of carbon monoxide poisoning in pregnancy.
- CME 31: Pubic Symphysis Rupture and Separation During Pregnancy--evaluate the published literature regarding peripartum pubic symphysis rupture and associated outcomes; recognize clinical presentation of pubic symphysis rupture following vaginal delivery; differentiate between normal and pathological separation on imaging; determine the most beneficial treatment strategy; and review recommendations regarding management of subsequent pregnancies after pubic symphysis rupture.
- CME 32: Delivery of an Impacted Fetal Head During Cesarean: A Literature Review and Proposed Management Algorithm--identify risk factors for an impacted fetal head during cesarean delivery; list potential complications associated with an impacted fetal head; describe the "push" and "pull" methods of delivery of an impacted fetal head; understand the concepts in the ALERT algorithm.
