Description
There is limited research on the prevalence of skin tears and their causes. In an effort to help providers choose the most appropriate product to treat skin tears, the International Skin Tear Advisory Panel conducted a systematic literature review and 3-phase Delphi consensus for product selection. This article delineates the findings of the group and provides evidence-based guideline for avoiding and treating skin tears.
