- CME 7: Contemporary Obstetric Triage--understand the scope of a medical screening examination within the context of contemporary obstetric triage; understand how a facility's level of maternal care influences clinical decision making in a contemporary obstetric triage setting; and understand the considerations necessary for the systematic evaluation of the 2 basic contemporary obstetric questions, "sick or not sick?" and "labor or no labor?"
- CME 8: Vaccination During Pregnancy--discuss the importance of vaccination during pregnancy for both maternal and neonatal benefit; explain the physiologic basis for maternal vaccination; understand the most effective ways to enhance uptake of recommended vaccines during pregnancy; and appreciate the ongoing and future research in this area.
- CME 9: Vitamin C: Promises Not Kept--critically review the purported benefits of vitamin C in obstetrics and other fields of medicine, communicate with their patients the potential adverse effects of vitamin C supplementation, and be able to describe the normal intake of vitamin C during pregnancy.
