- CME Article 1: Collateral Damage: Maternal Obesity During Pregnancy Continues to Rise -- Identify lifestyle interventions used to prevent complications from an obese pregnancy; describe emerging maternal obesity complications; classify the severity of maternal obesity in the United States; and explain barriers to lifestyle intervention success in obese pregnancy.
- CME Article 2: Management Considerations for Recalcitrant Hyperemesis -- Evaluate the epidemiology and pathophysiology of HEG, especially as compared with NVP; assess second-line pharmacologic therapies for HEG, with particular focus on the data available for those interventions; and compare different options for nutritional support.
- CME Article 3: Induction of Labor: An Overview of Guidelines -- Identify the appropriate indications for induction of labor; explain the effectiveness and associated risks of using prostaglandins, misoprostol, oxytocin, and amniotomy for induction of labor; and assess the definition and alternatives of failure of induction of labor.
