After completing this continuing education activity you will be able to:

  1. CME Article 10: Torsion in the Gravid and Nongravid Uterus: A Review of the Literature of an Uncommon Diagnosis-- Diagnose uterine torsion in the gravid and nongravid uteri and identify causative factors if present; ascertain differences in uterine torsion presentation in gravid and nongravid patients; identify severity of symptoms from asymptomatic to acute; and implement a treatment plan based on the reduction of morbidity and mortality while considering fertility preservation.
  2. CME Article 11: A Review of Sleep Architecture and Sleep Changes During Pregnancy -- Outline current literature regarding trimester-specific sleep architecture changes; describe the maternal and obstetric outcomes that poor sleep may contribute too; and identify current therapies for poor sleep during pregnancy.
