After completing this continuing education activity you will be able to:

CME 4: Pain Management for Gynecologic Procedures in the Office--select appropriate pain control measures for awake patients undergoing gynecologic procedures in the office, compare the efficacy and safety of different pain control regimens, and identify factors thatmay increase or decrease the pain experienced with various procedures.
  2. CME 5: Procedures and Uterine-Sparing Surgeries for Managing Postpartum Hemorrhage: A Systematic Review--understand the effects of procedures and uterine-sparing surgeries for PPH on control of bleeding and adverse effects including infertility and adverse pregnancy outcomes; understand the issues in defining and diagnosing PPH; and understand the areas of future research need.
  3. CME 6: Obesity and Pelvic Floor Dysfunction: Battling the Bulge--understand how obesity may contribute to the etiology of PFDs including urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and fecal incontinence; describe the behavioral, medical, and surgical interventions available for treatment of PFDs; and understand how obesity may influence the success of behavioral, medical, and surgical interventions for treatment of PFDs.
