  1. Explain the clinical definition of pain and select appropriate screening tools used in the neuro-intensive care unit (ICU) to assess patient comfort and the effectiveness of analgesia.
  2. Describe the concept of analgosedation, the appropriate level of sedation for ICU patients, and the importance of drug selection.
  3. Interpret the risk of ICU/critical care-associated delirium, how to appropriately screen patients for its presence (even if neurologically compromised), and preventive methods.
